NDP fireworks just over.... this year's one got more patterns.... got hearts and stars and a few flowers..... but it's not as impressive as previuos years... maybe cos they didn't have the last part where they release a whole bunch of fireworks and everything goes BANG at the same time, the windows start rattling, and all the dogs go crazy. XP oh wait, there's another round going on now......

tsk tsk tsk.... make me run back and forth... ah well, now we know there's 2 rounds of fireworks.... so when cuzzies come over must remember to stay at the long kang and wait, otherwise we'll be doing a mad dash from my house, up the slope, and fight for space with the whole estate, plus the pple from the flats on the other side of the long kang..... and the others who drive all the way over and clog up our roads just to see fireworks. ><

went for homecoming carnival today.... it was ok.... the games were more interesting than the food... the food was quite.... *raises eyebrows* uninspiring even tho i didn't eat much breakfast. erm... basicall just sat there and ran ard a bit and stoned. ^_^" oh ya, and i bought a pair of earrings *peace sign* it's very useful to have a teacher of the class selling stuff next to u ne~~~ *wink* also bought a pen with the school name on it... dun ask.... guess it's sort of a souvenier, considering how they're going to change the name already. ><><

school this past 2 days has been..... ><><>
spent most of friday printing stuff in the general office.... pretty fun actually.... there's this special machine that can churn out copies really really fast.... and the whole thing kinda shakes when it does that.... then i got to play with the collating machine as well... very fun but very noisy ne..... so other pple can tell when i'm having problems, cos it'll be very noisy, then sudden'y a long long silence while i fiddle with he machines and get them to work, then suddenly noisy again. ^_^ which reminds me, must go and print out the maths paper for my sec 2 class.

oh yes. and one of myy normal tech science student VERY brilliant. tell me that FIRE can DISSOLve (yes, dissolve) WOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then what does the whole class do??? 80 % of them COPY that answer into their worksheet. *steam coming out of ears* i told them before, if they want to copy, at least COPY THE CORRECT ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!! *fans self* when i markt ehir scripts, the MCQ isn't so bad, cos they can tikum that part... but the structured qns ah.... haiz, they just copy blindly from any worksheet they find, so i get like... 15 with EXACTLY the same answer. smae spelling mistake, and same half sentences. seriuosly. there was one guy who wrote only half a sentence, and everyone else copied it off his paper....... then i caught another guy giving his paper to this girl who actually tries to think. why? so that she could write down the correct answer for him. *digs out parang* i really want to kill all of them man........ at first when i saw the "fire can dissolve wood" thing, i thot they were being funny.... then the more i mark the more i see that!!!! my crosses got bigger and bigger and my comments got bigger and messier also!!! *fans self*

that was the most 'exciting thing' to happen since i last blogged. haiz. *shake head*

got to treat the family to NYDC tmr...... think it's a belated A level result treat cum uni offers treat.... ah well, as long as they dun exceed $20 per person. ^_^ but... when the heck am i going to get paid by MOE?!?!?!?!?? my salary has been delayed for almost 2 wks already!!!! ><

ano...... just got my reply from UNSW...... it's an unconditional offer..... so..... exactly wat did i take my UMAT for ah???? *scratch head* *shrugs* ah well, since i paid for it and it's non-refundable, might as well, right??? same with adelaide PQA.... paid for it, non-refundable, have no intention of going there, but... haiz, it's a gd excuse to cut class ne~ XD on 20 aug, so sort of a long time more.

just had UMAT today.... so now i'm majorly stoned...... haven't worked my brain so much since the A's.... and haven't frozen (thanks to over-enthu air-con system) in an 'exam' situation (in terms of the way the tables are arrnaged) since the A's also. about the test..... argh.... the logical reasoning part was very... logical. so logical that after a while, everything started to look the same. ><>
came home and KO'd until 5, then woke up and cleared my room. (wah, so guai suddenly) must really start pia-ing lyd's comics, still got long way more to go ne....... nvm, shall do that over national day weekend.

oh ya, ning da, just got a story abt hyde thru yahoo groups. let me know if u want to read it otherwise i'll delete it. me dunno wat it's abt, too lazy to read ne~ ^_^

update on ffx2 status (yes, i still have time to play. how? i dun plan my lessons. i go to sch and do that. ><) currently at level 82, thanks to lady luck dress sphere. ^_^ checked back with my previous game, turns out i finished it at level 73. -_-" no wonder i kept getting killed. i lurve being at high levels, altho sometimes the training gets irritating. but i think training in ffx2 is more interesting, cos ur incentive to train is to master variuos abilities.... and you can travel to most places for fun while training along the way. am i making sense here??? *scratch head* yup, so anyway, got abt 13% more to 100% completion, but the last few % are pretty hard to get.... shall hope that i dun get fed up halfway and decide to go whack shuyin and be done with it.

off to surf as usual. 2 days worth of stuff to catch up on.... then it's back to sch tmr. haiz.

just came back from dentist... had my filling changed..... got to go back for crowning one day too. ><><



school today was ok.... my class from hell was... well, wat can you expect if that's wat i call them right? at least some pple attempted to listen..... but i got so fed up with the shouting that in the end they just walked right up to me and i was conducting private lessons at the front of the class. ><>< and... for watever strange and obscure reason, they seem to have a fetish for going to the library... ok, so it's air-con, right underneath us and much more interesting than a poor teacher screaming and sweating her guts out. how flattering.



my normal tech maths class ah... haiz.... trying to think of a way to explain income tax calculation to them.... wat's irritating is that the birghter ones get wat i'm talking abt... the rest dun cos they're chatting awayhappily... then when i'm asking them to do exercises they tell me that they dun understand cos i never explain. wah lau!!! then tell me wat was i wasting my saliva on?!?!?!?



there was a drama in the staff room today... apparently one girl claimed that her teacher made her stay back after sch when she was actually at her fren's house and was cutting some cca class.... imagine, 2 teachers scolding at the same time in the staff room, and 1 of them threatening to slap her regardless of the consequences. wah... so drama.... bet every teacher was eavesdropping... cos i was way at the other end and i could hear them loud and clear already. ^_^ me is kay poh. so wat? XD



me thinks that i might get a 5 day holiday over national day weekend.... cos maybe i won't have to show up for work in fri cos it'll be national day celebration...... then after that it's the weekend, national day is on monday, so tuesday will be school hol..... wah, shiok man! *crosses fingers* hope i dun have to go for national day celebration.... dun see the point in staying for 5.5h doing nothing ne.



erm.... thanks to mr bay, i can't remember wat else i was going to type here. >< he just called me to irritate me cos he's bored (wat's new) and to ask if anyone's going for the carnival.... er... actually, i'd forgotten all abt the carnival.... must go and ask ard see if anyone's going.... and even so, dunno whether i'll manage to wake up and drag my lazy ass down to bukit timah.



off to crash.... neck pain... dunno why also.... must be all the book carrying/marking. i think tmr i'll go drag boys to help me carry all their workbooks. >< their books are so thick they weigh a ton.... now i know why they dun like to bring their books to class.

*bounces* i got into UNSW as well!!! *streamers and balloons* but... erm... wasn't my UMAT score supposed to be one of the deciding factors???? *scratch head* ah vell, they said that they'll send me my offer letter within 4 weeks, so i shall wait till i get it and see...... maybe it's a conditional offer ne~?? XD but then... now got more to think abt. ><><



oh yes, and congrats to pearll for getting into NUS. XD



just spent the entire afternoon burning anime for sis' bf...... wanted to make all into VCDs, but... wah lau! i didn't expect 1 disc to take 1.5h to burn!!!! in the end i gave up and burnt the remainders as data disc.... toook 7min per disc for that. -_-" read X while waiting for them to finisih burning.... managed to finish 3 bks... currently at the end of 15, so subaru's going to kill sei-chan next. *bounces* oh joy. so, that's 3 more books to finish before i can start on PoT... wahahahaha... me going to become druggie like the ning da ne? XDXD going to read fic after this... then i'll be having ffx2 party at nite. i'll most prob write my fic tmr afternoon while everyone's asleep, cos i'll have to do some revision WS for my students at the same time.... then won't be online tmr nite cos i want to watch x-men on tv. XD



went out for dinner with the triumvirate and the moderator aka the amy last nite.... poor amy... i think she's really given up on getting us to eat a proper meal... but then again, i DID eat a proper dinner yesterday. for once. i mean, a huge sausage and a plate full of rosti is considered a proper meal right?? especially compared to coughstrawberrycrepecough. *whistles and acts innocent* i think i managed to freak the marche pple out tho... cos i was calling amy really loudly and even asked a guy to help me call her cos she (-_-") didn't hear yours truly screeching while attempting to get in. >< ah vell. wat's new rite? hopefully she'll get herself a bloggie before she leaves.... otherwise we'll most prob not see her at all, given the insane time difference..... haha, random thot... imagine if i'd gone to UK, then we'd all be on different continents and have a really really hard time calculating all the time differences. la di da....... let's see, update on "life as a relief teacher" (sounds like a cheesy book ne?) erm... the guy i'm filling in for is (apparently) coming back next week.... but from the way the humanes HOD put it, it seems as tho it's not really confirmed yet. *shrug* ah well, i hope he comes back soon.... my NT pple are way behind time for maths... and i dun noe how long i can control the class from hell, so please please please come back!!!! if he does come back, i'll be filling for teachers on course. not that i mind.... but i hope i dun ahve to teach english. heck, even physics sounds gd, just no english please!!! i still can't remember wat the heck a verb is. ^_^" and i can already tell that their english is atrocious, i DON'T want to mark any of their english scripts.......



speaking of marking... was marking some practical books yesterday... wanted to laugh at some of the drawings...... i already WARNED the class that there are NO chloroplasts in onion epidermal cells, and that if they drew any in, i'd hit them over the head... but wat do i find??? the drawings have CHLOROPLASTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and best part is that... they are located btwn the cell membrane and cell wall!!!!! *bangs head on wall* need to show them how to draw properly again..... haiz.

er...... xx ah.... actually, the grenade launcher isn't for the pple in the next block. it's for me to shove it down their throats and pull the trigger. ><>
today was.... ok.... kinda stoned tho. saw my slightly smarter class from hell...... but i was 'saved' by the dental appointment, so most of them were basically wandering ard after their dental appointment becos... they didn't bring their workbooks, so they simply take it as dun need to do. *rolls eyes* i was hoping that maybe the principal would catch them running ard and scold all of them for me. i really wonder wat's the point of them coming to school when all they want to do is play. if they'd just stay at home, i'd be a much happier person. actually, now i'm wondering wat the heck they do btwn going home and coming to sch the next day. all the stuff i make them do for hmwk is never done.

was supposed to collect lots of workbooks today.... wasn't really looking forward to all the marking.. turns out i didn't need to worry, cos less than 50% of the total came in. ><><>
got the science paper back frm the HOD.... and the verdict is: *drumroll* it's too hard for them *faint* well, not really. just not visually stimulating.... so now instead of all STQ, i'm changing it to 1 fill in the blank, another of those 'join the lines to the correct point' thing... and lowering the total mark from 25 to 20. ><>
so sad.. in the end we didn't go and gamble at the ning da's house... haiz.... and i wanted to watch moon child too!!! *bawls*

nya?????? errr... gomen ne, i thot that the ning da was asking where i got my eyes checked.... anywayz, i kinda shop-hop actually. ^_^" usually i'll go to the shop where i pick my frame from... so the current frame that i'm using comes from century square.... which is next to tampines mall... so me no thinketh the ning da would want to go all the way there..... and no, i've not killed my classes yet (unfortunately). i'd love too, but see, they don't care if they fail or not... in the end i'll be the one banging my head on the wall with all the marking ne.

really wanted to strangle my class from hell today.... wah lau.... here i am trying to teach them... and wat do they do? they throw someone's pencil box out of the window, and then they spend 1h trying to fish it up using broom etc. *rolls eyes* and if that's not enough, they conduct shouting conversations with pple in the next block thru the window, even when i'm standing right in front of them. it's damn irritating ok. they simply refuse to listen to me just becos i'm a relief teacher and... GR!!!!!!! i've a new advanced request for my birthday.... either the ning da can lend me the masamune until my term is up, or can someone please please please buy me a grenade launcher. ><><>
had timetable mix up today also..... wat happened was that i was supposed to have a maths class first thing in the morning, then go and glare at my class from hell after that...... but wat i was given was that i only had to go and talk to myself aka teach the class from hell one hour after sch started.... so the HOD walked in on me when i was in the staffroom thinking up qns for the maths paper and went "how come you're here? the principal's in your class." and i was going "oh crap. die already." ah well, in the end she said it wasn't my fault cos my 2 timetables (and 1 was just recently edited) didn't show it. well, hope that they enjoyed their holiday, cos i'm going to start pushing them again next lesson. ><>
oh yes, random comment.... i was looking at the class list for my class from hell, appareantly there's a jap boy in it... called daisuke ito. tempted to call his name the next time i see them just to see how he looks like. i dun remember seeing anyone who vaguely looked jap. *shrugs*

took another class for microscopy today..... can i repeat the fact that i HATE the mirror microscope??? cos yesterday, i actually let them look at the pre-prepared slides, like the stuff we had to do for bio pracs in jc..... but couldn't see anything at all.... so today i decided to let them do the letter thingies... you know, cut out a letter from newspaper and then see which way it's inverted etc....... results were even worse, cos it was raining again.... everything was just grey... couldn't see the letter at all..... but there was this girl who was quite cute... she came up to me at the end of the lesson and asked where she could buy a microscope from. *rofl* poor thing, cos i told them that they most prob won't get to see a proper microscope until JC, cos i doubt that the sch would actually be supplied with the LMs and still use the mirror ones. so i said that it wouldn't be of much use buying one, cos u need a lot of preparation in order to see stuff... and that it cost a few hundred so. *shrug* i love MG no da. glad they didn't make us use those. i'd have cried i think.

okie dokie. need to go type out my maths paper now. my science one is with the HOD for verification aka: am i insulting their intelligence/killing them... but my sis says that heck, they'll prob spend more time reading the qn/sleeping than actually doing it. *shrug* ah vell. that's all for today folks!

forgot to add this in just now...... this afternoon before i went home, the teacher sitting next to me was talking to me... apparently i've managed to earn myself a reputation among a few teachers who've walked past my class/heard me screaming this past week...... wahahaha.... he told me to keep up the good work and that i'm surprisingly fierce considering this is my first time teaching. *peace sign*

i is the relief teacher from hell... be afraid... be very afraid...... oh darn, i got to see the worst normal tech class first thing tmr morning. >< haiz. i WILL NOT lose to them!!!! *determined look*

*grinz* i've decided that of all the days in my teaching schedule, i like tuesdays best. cos i dun have to see my 2 classes from hell. XD

forgot to add this in the previuos post. ning da, i dun see optometrist, i go to an eye doctor over at gleneagles. maybe u can ask the ms wee? xx, ya, i'm a full-time relief teacher, kinda like the ms wee, except that i've to set papers... cos the normal tech classes i'm given are the only ones in the whole level, so i'm in charge of their tets and stuff.><>
today was a nice day... the class in the morning was quite good, didn't need to scream much... my sec 2 maths class ah.... haiz, let's just say that they weren't their sweetest today.... they were tearing macdonald's coupons while i was attempting to pound hire purchse into their heads. ><><>
took my first prac class today... my next one is tmr.... taught them how to use mircorscope..... wah lau, i hate the microscope we've to use!!! or maybe it's becos i've been too pampered by MG and hwach. we've to use those mirror type, not those with built-in lights.... and happened that it was raining during my lab period, so everything was all dim aka, cannot see anything clearly. but the students seemed to be enjoying themselves... asked the to make an epidermal peel, they happily peeled the onions and stabbed the poor onion when they were done.... *shake head* ah well.

dun think i'll actually be on msn much now... maybe on weekends if my norton behaves... got to worry abt setting my papers this week, cos i've to submit my science one preferably by this wk, and i want to get the opnion of my maths class former maths teacher on the paper i'm planning to give them. actually come to think of it.... i bet that most of them won't exactly study, so even if i lift stuff from the TB they won't know... right? right? RIGHT?????

erm... wat else.... ah yes, me got 10 reviews for my ficcie!!! well, actually 9, cos one person psoted twice. ah well. and i got added to pple's author alert's list!!!! *big shimmery eyes* i'm so... so... touched!!! *starts bawling* but then... i never knew pearll dearie added me to her list..... -_-" not when all the stuff i write is.... off somewhere in the gutter ne? ^_^"

wah... long time no come online no da..... ever since... thurs?? yup. thurs. ^_^ impressive... hehehe.... ah well, been busy the whole weekend... friday went to watch brotherhood (kinda bloody and a bit too draggy IMO), saturday was college day, so went out with class after that, yesterday was preparing lessons for the week, today i'm... well, here. ^_^

okie, let's start with college day.... it was.. kinda amusing.... there were lots of bloopers.... like, JJ was called 'Jian Hao' and you could see the 73 pple laughing madly.... then there was JH's erm... 'flattery session' even tho he was in germany (i think)..... wah lau, to quote ms T, 'boo boo' of the year.... they ssai he got distinction for bio 'S' when actually it was ungraded!!! and... 'conscientious' student my foot!!! he always come to sch and copy bio tutorial!!! heck, i think one time he even copied my entire tutorial! *throws rotten eggs at hwach* but i was kinda surprised that they actually engraved our names on the plaque (sp??) that they gave us... thot that it was one of those mass produced thingies. *shrugs* ah well.

after that went out with the class... as exp[ected, we took almost 1h to decide where to go.... we hung ard sch until 6.15 before we decided on suntec.... after that, we hopped onto 174 and talked lots of crap all the way there.... chiken was telling some rather... ahem... jokes and chunzai the innocent didn't understand. -_-" as usual... i was the only one who could understand. ><><><

sunday, preparing stuff for teaching.... wah lau.... being a student is soooo much nicer man. dun need to worry abt anything..... and i've to set test papers for normal tech science and maths!!!!!! *throws tantrum* the maths paper i got no problems... but the science apper.... wah lau, i feel like being mean and KILL them all!!!!!!!!!!!! *waves chainsaw*

ahem. in case you're wondering why all my violent tendencies are suddnely erupting.... please, take over me for a day when i've to teach those normal tech devils and you'l understand.... no amt of scolding/screaming/threatening will make them shut the f*** up. and they're only SEC ONE!!!!!! *faint* my sec 2 math class is much better, at least i can handle them better.... maybe cos those who are willing to learn sit near the front and help me to scream at pple when it gets too noisy..... but the sec 1 classes ah...... haiz. *shake head* just took the most notorious class today.... and if looks could kill all of them would be dead, buried and decomposed by now..... i gave them permission to go toilet before classstarts, what do they do???  90% of the class runs off to the library to play computer games. i send the moniter after them, got 6 jokers REFUSE to come back to class.... even the library teacher couldn't get them out. so i had to run all the way down, drag them back up to class, scold them (not like they paid attention) and attempt to continue the lesson. GR!

i kinda pity my mum, everyday got to listen to me rant...... everyone tells me to relax and calm down and not to stress myself out so much over them... and i intend to do that.... but it's just soooo irritating when here i am trying to help you go on to sec 2 and you are competing to see who can shout louder with me. really very...... ARGH!!! i dun want to send pple to detention, cos i dun see the point in that... but if this goes on... i really have to ask the teachers how to go abt doing it.... maybe i'll just send them to see the DM, except it's no point doing it if they go for fun and come back happily not caring at all. ><

*fans self* ok. enough ranting i think. need to go crack my brain to think of how to set easy papers for their tests........ i'm scared that my paper will be too tough for them to handle...... and i'm also wondering how long i shud give them to do it. i'd love to give them an hour, then i can shake leg for the duration... but i've a feeling that if i do that, they'll give up halfway thru and i'll have a madhouse supposedly taking a test. ><

i need to xiao qi. i'm going to read fic now.... and i've this feeling that i'm 1 week behind in posting my fic..... *raises eyebrow* oh dear *disappears to do review replies*

just got the news after teaching today... so very happy now..... XDXDXD it may not have been my first choice, but at least i'll be guaranteed a place in aussieland, and that's all i'm asking for. XDXD but seriously, i thot that i wouldn't get the place..... i mean, my interview was full of crap... my definition of enzyme was way off the wall (i realised that i shud have said "it's a tiny substance made by our bodies that can break down big things or build up small things very quickly" but instead i went on and on abt... .stuff that's tooooo embarrassing to repeat. ^_^"""") and i can think of a million ons why i wouldn't have gotten in.... such as my reasons for wanting to do med (cos it's science based and i like science vs *starry eyed* "i want to heal the world!!!!")

ahem. ya, you get the point.... and it's so... fast too... straight past thte first round of interviews... *stunned* and it's only been... a week since my interview too??? wow.

ok, not being very coherent here. XD who cares ne?? shall i talk abt school now or is everyone sick of that?? hehehe..... aiyah, basically i spent my day reading again.... but i've a feeling i'm going to have to do actual teaching next week if i really have to relief for a guy who (i assume) is going for reservist.... so ning da, kai nd gang.... gomen ne, dun think i'll be able to make it for any mahjong parties. *cries* nothing definite yet, i'll know tmr, cos that's when the time-table arranger (who's also the HOD for science) comes back. but maybe i'll be able to sneak off at 12.30 one day?

me is ahppy now.... lalalalalal... and since i've done my civic (cough cough) duty of blogging (not that anyone benefits from this???) i think i'll play compy the whole nite... and sleep early for once. ^_^ and maybe find out where the heck i can get the next vol of the 'left behind' series.... my mum lost the thrid bk and we've never replaced it. >< mou! i finished 325 page of the 2nd one today... and i think if i've to read the whole day again tmr i'll be bored stiff!!!!!! i wanteth the 3rd vol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

XDXD today was good day ne~~~ got paid $65 just to read the whole day. XDXD today was really babysitting, thank goodness no teaching..... but there was one class that asked me how to do a physics qn.... something abt the CG of this wine rack, so i anyhow hum tum... thank goodness i had to rush off for class, dun think i can out argue 5 boys on a physics qn i can't remember nuts on. ^______________^ other than that, today was a piece of cake. XDXDXD (in case anyone can't tell, i'm very pleased abt that fact now. mwahahahahhaha)

ahem. oh ya, almost forgot, got to see a public caning today. heheh, make it sound like i'm very sadistic ne?? ya, anyway, this sec 4 kid got caned cos he accidentally broke the fire alarm switch.... you know, the red ones on the wall? ya, well, he broke it and ran away.... then the DM was going on and on abt how if it's a bomb and we act so iresponsible yadayadayada. but... haiz, his caning wasn't very impressive la..... he tried to do the swishing thing before he whacked the boy, but somehow, it didn't come across as very successful... so he said that he'd practise his right arm by caning those who never tuck in shirt, and tapping girls on the head with it cos he can't touch them. -_-"

went to tapmines mall this afternoon.... the nose pad fell off my frameless specs and i lost the screw, so had to bring it back to repair... haiz, i'm starting to wonder whether or not they can recognize me even tho i haven't gone back for so long, cos there was a time when i went back like once a month cos of variuos problems.... and cos i kept breaking my specs. >< or my specs grew mouldy. -_-" irritating... my sis has exactly the same pair of specs as mine, and i dun see why mine grows mould (maybe in place of me???) while hers doesn't....... maybe i wash it too often? but if i dun wash it... then i can't see properly!!!! *gives up*

came home and plaed ffx2 again. so irritating.... kept going to this really gd place to train cos i'm trying to level up quickly by getting everyone to master the lady luck dress sphere... it's got double EXP ne... only problmem with that place is that just when i'm about to complete the mission i always kena killed cos i can't whack/heal fast enuff. >< in the end i gave up and just equipped no encounter. >< ah well. at least i seem to be progressing faster in terms of levels than my previous game.

off to read fics (as i do everynite...) and proof read my fic. need to continue writing too... but no time. >< still got 3-4 chapts to finish it off... guess that when i'm down to 1.5 chpts left, i'll start posting every week instead of every fortnight. good for ego no da. ^________^ *bounces and claps hands* *disappears in cloud of sugar dust*

i is stoned..... been playing ffx2 the whole afternoon and i think i kena overdose already. O.o thank goodness for the pretty graphics, otherwise i'd be tempted to break the disc or smthg.... kinda like ff8, not that i broke the disc.... heck, ff8 is soooo irritating, no matter how amusing squall and his '.......' is it still doesn't make up for it. ><

got to go teach tmr... haiz, got to wake up early again. wonder wat subs i'll hav eto teach/crap this time....... also thinking abt wat i shud bring to read..... if i brought my X manga there..... eh.... well.... *raises eyebrow* forget it. i'll bring a proper book.

'mean girls' yesterday was crappy.... on thewhole the show was really funny, but i think the ending was too rushed and bleh. i mean, sure, it's supposed to be a no-brainer show, but the ending seriously needed help.

played 5h of ffx2 just now, so kinda seeing stars now. >< almost at the end of chpt 2, and i'm 20 levels below my target... was pkanning to sort of train abt 25 levels per chpt to reach level 100 at chpt 5 (cos there's no running ard during chpt 4) haiz. ><

got idea as to how to write the epilogue for my ficcie... which is gd, cos i couldn't decide how to end it off. wat's bad is..... i still haven't written the last few chappies. >< must go and write later, not play ard with photoshop. also got another idea for a wallpaper, which will be much much simpler if i can get it done compared to the SxS one i've been complaining abt lately. shall see how la.

i finally got to sleep to 12 today..... shiok ah! XD nah..... just that, i'm not really a morning person, so even if i wake up at say 9+, i dunno how to start passing my time until after lunch/brunch. guess i'm too used to having my day start in the afternoon, so all my stuff starts there.... i mean, it's kinda easier to plan my schedule (if you even call it a schedule) which is basically wake up, pester my mum abt lunch, eat lunch, play compy until dinner, eat dinner, watch 7pm show, go online, sleep. very productive huh? oh, and add in some ironing and vacuuming somewhere during the course of the afternoon. ^_^

spent afternoon playing ffx2, as can be deduced from the above synopsis of my schedule. XP so far pretty gd, following the percentage completion guide closely, everything tallies. which is gd. still haven't gotten round to taking a calculator and calculating the total percentage in the bk, cos from wat i read at the back, it seems as tho there're a few extra points floating ard, so technically if i manage to get those, i dun really have to follow the procedure listed in the guide and i can still get 100%... am i making sense here? probably not. ><

stayed up till 2 last nite playing with the next wall.... now i'm trying to decide whether or not it looks decent, cos this time round i can't show it to my sis. >< after all, walls of yuna are fine, but a wall of SxS and their SnM relationship (well, not exactly in the wall, but......) made to look a tad bloody courtesy of PS brushes... i think i'll pass on that. i gave up trrying to figure out exactly how big the wall needs to be to fit just perfectly onto a web page, so i just made it 800 x 600. XD lazy me. it'll prob be too big again so... heck. now i'm trying to do those boundary-thingies for my words, so messing ard with the files still.... and the total size of my unflattened image is almost 10MB -_-" sigh..... dun remember how big my alyer cake yuna one was, but i dun think it got that big somehow.....

off to read fics. rest of the time i'll either be writing or trying to get the layout done. me hath overshot my 3 month deadline no da... bad self. XD

interviews were ok... but i kinda enjoyed the UNSW one more than the monash one, maybe cos it's easier to talk when u can't see the person.... spent abt 40 min talking to the interviewer. think there was only one, cos she was the only one speaking to me. if there was anyone else with her (cos she used speaker) i didn't hear them. monash one had 2 pple, a doc and an assoc prof. that one was a little more formal than the one over the phone, or maybe it was me, cos there was a jam on the way down to marriot, so i was running over from scotts where mum dropped me. turned out that they were actually running 10 min early, and i came just in time cos the assoc prof was sort of taking attendence outside and when he asked for my name he was like "oh ok, you're next. hold on for a while more."

UNSW qns were pretty ok.... not like NUS where they sort of grill u to find out your GK and try to put u in a spot.... i was asked to describe myself, my family, my frens... er, wat my frens would say abt me, wat my family would say abt me... my hobbies, wat sports i play, wat are my interets, wat inspires me... stuff like that. didn't really expect it.

monash was also sort of like that, but they had one part where they asked me to read this passage and then answer some qns based on that passage.... it was on natural therapy!! me knoweth nuts abt it, so when i was asked how safe is it and how can it be verified i was crapping my way thru and ended up saying that u can't prove it cos the proffessionals certifying it might not be pros, so the only way out is to take it yourself (and hope u dun die) XP i also had to define an enzyme in non-technical terms.... so i was deperately crapping out the non-techincal definition of a biological catalyst....i think i really confused them cos i was really talking loads of crap, the doc was giving me strange looks..... not that i blame her. i mean, how many interviewees quote spiderman???? yes, i quoted spidey *digs hole and hides* the whole "with great power comes great resopnsiblity" thingy, cos they were asking something abt wat i think it's like to be a doc, so i was going on abt the whole "must be responible cos pple's life in ur hands" thing and that was the only thing i could think of to sum it up.... -_-" glad to know i caused them amusement. oh yah, and when i went in, i also had to write my name on the board and then take a photo with it... kinda like a mug shot, so i was trying very hard not to laugh my head off when the guy was fiddling with the digicam. XD

so, that's all abt the interviews. UNSW said they'll get back in abt 2 wks with the interview results, monash didn't say anything.... now got to go take the UMAT. haiz. ><

on to other stuff now..... next layout's progress is pretty gd, used quick masking to get rid of the pic outlines, so if all the pics in the next layout look vaguely alike in terms of shape etc, well, you know why. *wink* erm.... wat else.... ah yes, total review count for my new chappie is 11 *bounces ard* and so far my OC (who's only appearing once thank goodness, he's even more hyper than me i swear) is getting pretty gd responses... just hope it'll be the same when i bring in my OFC, cos the story relies on her to tie it up. >< but no mary-sue..... i dun dare to even try one, not after doing "winter fairy". i mean, it's kinda hard writing with someone that perfect even with a tragic past ne?? they end up running the story, and i think i'd just give up and let it rot halfway thru.

lastly, stupid qn of the day: wat programs out there can be used to make video clips? cos my sis asked me to d/l windows movie maker for her, but the only version i found on the microsoft site is for windows xp. i'm using 2000, so.... help?

off to surf fics. will log into messenger after doing all that, cos my virus guard will prob shut down when i do that. >< and norton and symantec sites are still down. dun tell me that the makers of the anti-virus software kena virus attack??? or... is there such a virus that prevents you from getting virus updates so that it won't get kicked out of the compy?? *scratch head*

today was better than yesterday. at least i didn't have to have shouting competitions with the class. and ning da, one very reason to work there even tho the students seem to be from hell is becos... the pay is very nice. XD $65 a day for staying in sch for at least 5.5h, but teaching at most 3h. but then again, i think the students think that i'm the one from hell...... *wink* all the threats from mrs foo are coing in handy now.... and the CTFH too.

let's see... first period today, had to take the social studies class.... that one h.... hehehz.... i was teaching/crapping stragiht from the textbook.... and there were these 4 jokers who were sleeping right at the back of the class and i had to tell them off twice... when that didn't work i threatened to make each of them stand at 1 corner of the class (cos they were yakking away after they woke up), or else they could stand together outside the class and contemplate the rain, then write me an essay on the rain. *wink* i think it seemed to work. they had their heads above the table for the rest of the lesson. but seriously, how on earth did MOE decide to make social studies part of the curriculum????? i mean, it's really really really boring/dry and i think if it's an MCQ exam, then it's as easy to pass as CME!

next period had to babysit a lower sec science class.... was ok, basically just sat there and tried to make sure they didn't make enuff noise to bring in the teachers next door. actually i'm surprised the teachers didn't come in, they more or less ignored me everytime i told them ot tone down.....

geog class was ok, same class as yesterday. the nice one.... i just hope that they managed to understand wat this crazy teacher is talking abt.... cos everytime i ask if they understand they'll go yes, then when i ask qns they'll all go dunno. >< but at least today they were a little more responsive.

had to babysit 2 maths classes after that, one upper sec, the otehr loewer sec. the upper sec class was.... haiz... got one guy trying to be funny... trying to find out my entire family history, then want to draw cricle, instead of borrowing from his fren he came all the way to the front of the class and went "cher i borrow your water bottle" and grabbed it and drew it... O.o. didn't say anything cos he wasn't getting on my nerves yet. lower sec class was less amusing, and less quiet. >< but all in all today was much better thatn yesterday. going back again next wed and thrus, but dunno wat i'll be teaching yet

grr... stupid norton.... the sites are all done, so how am i supposed to get my virus updates???? can't do it manually either then HOW>!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? to log into messenger or not to log in... haiz.

Started playing with the pics for my next layout.... trying to find a way to get the sharp edges off my pics. cos no matter how much i feather/lighten or watever, it keeps showing, cos i'm using a black background..... haiz, must go and read my dummies' guide again.

eh... well..... the pple in gohatto are marginally prettier than evil sempai.... sort of..... well, kano-kun is pretty (scarily so) and the rest...... haiz. cmi.

yes, i survived my first day, and now i'm contemplating whether i want to go back to do more....... me is babysitting geog, enlgish and social studies.... help!!! how the heck do i teach social studies??? i got a class tmr, i was reading the textbook just now and i almost fell asleep just reading it!!!!! *bangs head on wall* i mean, there's more pictures than words in the book, how am i supposed to do it? point at a picture and go "oh look! here's an example of a service industry!!" O.o gah, the geog is fine, i can crap my way thru it..... but no matter how hard i crap, they (apparently) can't understand me cos i'm too cheem. -_-" i crapped my way thru 2 geog classes just now, one of which i had to scream and shout at to get them to vaguely pay attention to me. >< thank goodness the second class was nicer. at least they were queiter and actually payed more attention than the previuos class. >< thank goodness it's the nice class i'm taking again tmr, not the rowdy one, dun think i can scream for 2 periods straight again.... poor little sore throat. but, they're really really spoon-fed, the nicer class that is... the teacher tells them what to underline, key points etc.... so i was desperately inventing things to highlight..... otherwise i think htey might as well highlight the whole book actually. ><

english was....haiz, was supposed to give them spelling... as expected, they didn't learn. so i wrote it on tbe board and gave them 5 min to learn..... and after that, during the test, they were teaching/asking each other how to spell. -_-" right in front of me even though i was standing in the middle of the aisle btwn the 2 jokers doing it, so they simply continued around me. >< the spelling for the most part is terrible... and then they were acting like a bunch of monkeys so i threatened to send them out of the class and it actually worked. wow.

had to take 2 art classes too, when yours truly is no artist. -_-" thank goodness didn't have to draw, otehrwise i think i would have gone "duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh" XD but first class had no idea what they were suposed to do, so we ended up doing nothing. second class was better, sec 3 art & tech class, so i simply returned their work and sat there until the bell rang.

i really miss being a student. it's nicer to gang up against the "cher" as they call me than to be ganged up against. but i guess it went pretty well overall, i think most of wat i said at least went in thru one ear and got reflected back out. >< got one brilliant girl, want to listen to discman in my class, so she ran the wires up the inside of her shirt. very smart move. not-so-smart move: she plugged in the earphones on the side facing me. *rolls eyes* want to be funny do it less obviously for goodness sakes. and another boy tried to... stick a broom down his shirt or something. *raises eyebrow* dunno wat he was really trying to do, but when he caught my attention that's wat he looked like he was doing. ><

oh yes, broadrick has reading period in the hall every single morning... means that everyone has to go sit in the hall and read. >< including the teachers. >< including me. mou! i want to hide in the staff room!!! haiz, so tmr i dunno wat i'm going to do cos i'll be in a diff hall from the teachers who were showing me ard today.... but... i dun want to read in the hall!!!! *throws tantrum*

think i've complained quite a lot already... ^_^" wat to do... first time teaching ma..... which now brings me to the question: is teaching better than a desk job? the pay definitely is, plus the hours are nicer. sort of. but..... aiyha, dunno la. wish i could be payed to play compy....... any idea how to be a video game tester??? or how to join the teams that write the guides for square???? *wink wink*

testing which program makes my norton go crazy, i think it's really my messenger. i haven't logged in yet, and my virus guard is still on. hmmmmmmm

compy-sama really gone a bit nuts nuts nuts...... and the stupid liveupdate REFUSES to run, so i can't update my virus definitions.... tried to do a manual update, but guess what??? the symantec site is f***ing DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!! *fans self* got a strange feeling that it's msn messenger that happily turns off my virus guard tho.... cos just now when i logged in, suddenl;y ALL my norton windows closed on me. *raises eyebrow* someone, anyone, H-E-L-P..................

going to broadrick tmr to abysit, la di da. currently doing strategy planning... hehz. just hope that i can handle them, so that maybe i'll get a more permanent temporary job... if that makes sense.

went ning da's house yesterday, watched 5h of neverland... O.o i'm proud to say that i managed to understand most of the subtitles. *peace sign* and... for watever strange and obscure reason, i found the scene with the evil senior and stalker boy more scary than gohatto..... when gohatto is actually more graphic. O.o maybe becos evil sempai x stalker boy are too ugly to be considered for seme-uke-ness like gohatto????? *smacks self* need to get mind out of gutter.

got idea for next layout, now it's whether or not i can managed to get it done the way i like..... it'll most prob be subaru and seishirou, not kamui-angsting-over-saving-the-world-while-hinoto-angsts-over-the-future-in-the-background anymore. phew, that's a mouthful. ^_^ maybe that'll be the one after the SxS one ne??? must cross fingers and hope taht i can figure out enuff photoshop to do it, and not end up with my layer cake style again. >< well, it'll be layer cake, but heopfully not as layer caked as my previuos walls, and may it actually FIT onto the screen this time. ><

eh.... ok... compy-sama was a little bit nuts just now... kept getting these error messages....... after restarting it looks ok once more. oh wait, i just realised my virus thingy is now missing.... like.... wtf?!?!?!?!

anyway, went to watch spidey 2 yesterday... was pretty gd... highly entertaining. altho i'm still wondering where/who the heck the person who's supposed to play black cat appeared at/as. other than that. think it's pretty gd. the action sequences were cool, and i'm 85% sure i'm not bringing my mum to watch it..... i'd have a spidey at home if i did thatt..... -_-"

mou! no fics to read today...so sad.... maybe it's a sign that i shud write???

got call from agent today..... asked me to go back to work at global refund on mon.... doing some processing i think... os at first i said yes.... then afte ri thot abt it for a really long time, ic alled her back and made all sorts of stupid excuses cos.... i don't feel like going back to work yet. XP i really really miss being a student man... can't wait to be one gaain. then dun need to worry abt working... not for a few years that is. ^_^ this is called, being lazy in a gd way. ^_^

played ffx2 just now.. .got a little irritated, cos i think i did one small stupid part wrong, but i accidentally overwrote my file so i had to backtrack 4 hours in my bid to get 100% completion. >< irritating no da... i want to get 100% compeotion this time round, so that the next time i play, i'll be able to understand al bhed totally and i can do different stuff without worrying abt the copletion percentage!!!! *throws tantrum* and it's irritating, cos the percetage is only shown as a round figure, so i can't tell if i missed say... 0.2% at all!!! and only abt 5?4? times in the whole progress of the game are the figures nice round numbers!!! mou@!!!!!!

haiz. got a few ideas for next bloggie layout, but dunno whether i can pull them off or not..... current poster boys/girl will either be the cast of X, joker or kurenai. but...... stupid FoR pics are so hard to find... and mostly ugly to boot. ><
