Happy Birthday to Me!!! (one day late)
DESU! well, i've finally turned 21, but i doubt my mental stage will be turning that age soon (much to the horror of a certain person living in CS... no,m not pointing fingers at all. ahhahaha)
thank you everyone for celebrating with me and making it such a niiiiice birthday bash for me!!! *chu~~~* i feel as tho i've been partying the whole weekend, wat with dinner with the parents on both sat and sun, and then the JCH room invasion last nite... hahahahaha. hai desu. i'm amazed. i never knew that my room could fit... 10 ppl including me... 4 pple on the bed (amy bouncing madly and me screeching everytime he feet gravitated int eh general direction of my pillow) livia squashed in my laundry corner (looking very traumatized), goddess showing of her (rarely existent) balancing skills with her butt on my chest of drawers and hre feet on my heater, koala took up residence in my laundry chair (which was cleared of laundry thank goodness) while amoeba and yuxi were posing under my clothes airer thing that i clip over my cupboard door. XD ahahaha. ya. i thanks everyone muchly for their wub~! and and and, i muchly got a cuuuuuuuuuuute bikkie jar and chocolate cookbook from everyone! sharon and amy gave me a kawaii pink baggy which looks vaguely like hannah's which i err... have been eyeing. XD hai desu. so bikkie jar will go on display in my apartment next year, baggy and book are going home with me so... WHO WANTS TO BE MY TASTE TESTER???? HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
parents came over yesterday afternoon... i couldn't be bothered taking down all my posters so i left them up. surprisingly, they didn't react. in fact, my mum commented that my wall looks very 'pretty'. dad just stared and then made himself at home on my laundry chair (i cleared all my stuff before hand, i don't htink he'd appreciate sitting on a mound of random clothes and underwear which i couldn't be bothered putting back into my cupboard) and decimated my supply of wasabi peas and shortbread bikkies. hai desu. and my mummy says tha tmy room is NEAT! like WOW! GASP! SHOCKU! hahahaha!!! well, considering taht i was clearing it madly in expectation of the impending vist... let me give myself a pat on the back adn say that i did a really good job. XDXDXD
anyway, mum and dad just settled ona elase for me today. i'll be staying where they're currently staying now... the multi-coloured building, watever it's called, down on swnaston. i htink waku claims that they were drunk when they painted it. haahhaa. apparently the studio is pretty large and nice, so ya. shall trust dad since he was an architect and claustrophobic to boot. so if he says it's nice means it's nice. XD going out for late lunch with them tmr and to see the show apartment... ya...
oh yes, i have a name for my creative player. i hereby dub it WASABI-CHAN. ahahahaa!!! everyone went duuuuuh when i told them last nite, but btu but, it's a cuuuute name!!! and it's the only green thing i could think of to name my player after... unless wat... grass? leaf??? choya plum wine thingy? (the bottle is green right? hahaha) erm... ya... so that's that... wat else... oh yes, lyd mailed me yesterday. and her mail was full of crack. i almost died laughing the first time i read it, then i printed it out and circlated it... and now it's sitting propped up against my printer and everytime i feel like procrastinating i'll read it again. XDXD i wonder if it was me rubbing off on her or her rubbing off on me, but both of us seem to have gotten madder and madder... or maybe it's genetic, cos her parents are both crazier too. in fact, i think her mum was way crazier than mine. ya. and and and, she's coming back for summer~! yay~! we can go shoping~~~!!! she was actualyl supposed to stay behind for her PR to be valid, but somehow or other she's coming home~! yaya~! we can have anime trading festival too. hahahahha!!!!!

sqee sqee sqee~! it finally finished charging, so i transfered all my music over... and i transferred 'passion' video to test out the video settings, and it is teh PWETTY~!!! all the colours in 'passion' are there, and it's really clear, so guess who's going to be using it to watch anime on long bus/train rides from now on? hahahhaa. hai desu. i shud stop spamming my blog. i shud focus more. but today wasn't very productive. not good. sigh. will eat my notes some other time. but yesh, i rabus my player muchly. now all i need is a name for it. it's green colour and velli cute (by my standards) altho it doesn't look as flashy as an i-pod, but i think it still looks nice and cute and happy. hahaha. name name name. la la la. *bounces off to giggle at notes, stare at player and make bed*

1) wasabi peas are addictive. but i still can't get used to the feeling of it going up my nose. oh well. at least i won't be having a blocked nose anytime soon. XD and amoeba, the ;made in china' joke was abt teh irnoy of it all, given teh wonderful relations japan and china have with each other. XD
2) daylight savings tmr pple!!! remember to change your clocks and show up for meals at the right time!!!! thank u mag for reminding me. totally forgot. must remember to message muma dn remind her tmr too.

Best b'day celebration ever
my parents are in melbourne~~!!! XDXDXD ya. apparently they've been plotting and planning with the waku... la la la. but yesh, we went out to celebrate my b'day today. who care if it's 2 days early... and it was muchly nice surprise so i thanks everyone who came to dinner desu~~!!!!
ya, anyway, it started last nite when waku said that they wanted to bring me out to dinner... and me being the lazy ass who hadn't started studying didn't feel like going until she said we could go coretto's and eat salmone pasta. XD so me the pig said yes. XD and then we went to coretto's and we sat there and i was babbling happily (and thank goodness not showing koala the middle finger which i tend to do each time we have dinner together... dunno why also. haha) when suddenly this hand appears on my forehead and at first i thot it was goddess cos she was next to me. and i was thinking what the heck she was doing when i turned ard and saw my mum. but since i wasn't expecting my mum to be in melb, i thot it was just some random stranger until it finally clicked and i glomped my mum and saw my dad hiding behind the tree taking piccies. ^_^" ya. and i think i freaked the guys out cos i started crying. ^_^" ahem. hai desu. so it was muchly nice surprise, and they brought me my zen player which sis bought for my b'day, together with the speakers... but i think i'll ask them to bring the speakers back hoome for me cos i alreayd have a pair over here and it's no point having 2 when i wanted to speakers for home use actually.
had yummy yummy pasta and pizza for dinner. mum and dad bought me a GIANT choc cake (there's still 1/4 sitting in the fridge after 10 pple have been at it.) and then koala ran to safeway to get me candles... and then we set the cake on fire and i sang my own b'day song. hahahaa. thick skinned but who cares? XDXD yup. so now the zany gang hath met my parents, too bad katkat wasn't ard, my mum wants to meet her, cos amoeba claims that i corrupted her beyond hope. *angelic aura* i swear i'm sweet and innocent. amy on the other hand.... has my mum convinced that she's totally sweet innocent and harmless. hahahahha. cough cough cough. i wrote love mode fic. like ARGH!!!! I WROTE FIC WHEN I SHOULD HAVE BEEN STUDYING DAMMIT!!!!! well, at least my writing urges are gone. after 1h of writing it and 30 min of tweaking livejournal to make it work properly. stupid italics tags didn't show so i had to key them in manually. but yes, it's done. so those who are interested, it's on my LJ. if you know my LJ user name, good for you. if you don't, it means that you're not supposed to. notice the wonderful poofy hair of doom? hahaha, i'll u/l pics of it from the back and a grp photo when i get back to colelge... i can't rememebr the url for the wm server. ^_^" yesh, btu anyway, that wonderful piece of fried ringlets was thansk to the student hairdresser aht the salon up the road from vic mart... and to give her credit, it got teh act cute effect across quite well. XDXDD altho i had soem issues witht eh vertical column of spikes... -_-" i felt vaguely liek ed from fma. XDXD hahhahaha. ya. and it hink i scared quite a few pple when i first came back to. kat had a jaw-drop moment when i appeared at her door... but i think it didn't look so freakifying after i put on makeup and everything, btu i know that when i came home, TSM and tony's eyes almsot fell out. wish they did tho, then they can go bash their heads in ont eh nearest wall. mwahahahaha. ahem.
anyway, more abt medal... it was fun, i got a super 'cat' judge. so nitty gritty (mrs foo's fav word) and so picky!!! he told me to put my feet flat nt he 3rd count of samba walks and that i was lifting my knees too much in jive... duuuuuh. considering that i was at least 20m way from him and my shoes are almsot eh same colour as the floor when the light is reflecting off teh wood, i really don't see how he could see ym feet that clearly, unless he has a pair of binoculars.... la di da. yes. anyway, i got a highly commended, so all's good, altho i wish i could have gotten honours. OHS WELLS. >< waku got honours for her modern so yay for her~~ *applause* KJ got the same judge as me so he got highly commended for his new vogue too... peter screwed up his quickstep, so he got commended only. *pats* dunno wat sharon got, cos she went home right after her bracket cos she was sick... *pats* get well soon desu!!! the cabaret showcases were mostly good... i ♥ brad adn mariska's danc... so cute!!! i like how she was pretending to karate him and then check her nails at the intro of their dance... and brad the big bad wolf was just too darn funny. XDXD ya... mario was getting a bit too happy with his students as usual... it was quite funny, cos he had a sdtudent who was awearing this velvet cloth draped ard her hips, and they were rearranging it between dances and eventually mario pulled it off her... and then wat'shisname (owner of the studio) was saying "mario, don't get too sexy with your students, is there anything else she's going to take off?" and then she pretended to undo the strap of her dress. *falls down* and he had another student where he had to rip a cape off her. so ya, mario is nuts and it was very entertaining, cos there was a woman from his studio who kept catcalling and saying that it wasn't sexy enough. *falls down again*
yup, so medal was fun... peter gave us a lift home and we were screeching and driving him nuts... i think i threatened to strangel him with teh seatbelt many times... oh, and i haven't given up my quest to get him to hand over his car keys to me yet. XDXD bwagahahahahaah. ph34r me. XD erm... came back, got furuba off amy and finshed it... WAH!!!!! THE ENDING!!!! well, it was more more bittersweet than anything i guess, and it was a really good manga, altho the art isn't that pretty. ayame was super crack as usual... and i'm kind of glad at all the pairings that came out. shall not say in case ayone kills me for spoiler-ing it. ^_^" like COUGHamychiCOUGH telling me about sai from hikago. *glares* tee hee.
yesterday, went to church, but before going to church i got freaked out by kat and waku going high at brekkie. waku had too much coffee and tea, kat had too little sleep, so they were babbling adn kat was giggling over her brekkie. very scary. don't want to repeat that experience anytime soon desu. -_-" ya. then i decided to go into act cute mode etc. *whistles* yup, so ended off at s'pore chom chom for lunch after the service, ate ban mian and got homesick (will teh STUPID interview timetable come out dammit, i want to book my flight home for a later date!!!!) ya. then went shopping at supre... bought 2 sports bras and a tube top that actually fit and didn't drop down!!! YAY~! my first tube top. hahahaha. i hope no one was watchign my feet under the door, os i was jumping ard to see it the top would hold up. the joys of shops which carry XXS. XD ya. thinking of going to buy more... cos it was only $9... or maybe i shud buy for my sis to shut her up when i go home. tee hee... la id da. see how first. maybe i shud wear it first and make sure that it really doesn't drop down. hahahahaha. after that i came back and KO'd for a while, then camped in amy's rooma dn watch ouran with amy and goddess... WAH!! THE ENDING!!! KYOUYA-SAMA~~~! ♥_♥ hahahaha. i like the last part where he stole haruhi from tamaki during the waltz and tamabaka was throwing a tantrum at the back... kyouya is soo nicely evil, i wants him as a pet... evil thing. he's really a yagyuu inui cross... hahaha, and the part where he was threatening the yakuza guy~!!!! *dies laughing* ouran is sooo crack... watever they were smoking, i want some. desu. oh, and we watched a bit of death note while goddess was talking to helen... somehow.. everytime raito opened his mouth, i kept thinking of tamaki (well, duh cos they the same voice) and i was making comments abt how raito actually has a brain, so ya, first ep turned out cracker than it shud have cos i just couldn't shake the image of tamaki from my mind altho it was raito on the screen. and amy was saying smthg abt expecting raito to burst into one of tamaki's philosophical crap crack rambles. *dies laughing* ya.

I hate flying insects
there's a moth in my room. it's been here since abt 8pm. but it disappeared and i was hoping that it'd flown out, except that abt an hour ago, it suddenly reappeared, flew in my face and then landed on my desk amid my pens and stuff, so i couldn't whack it very efficiently. then i spent 10 min hunting for it, only to find that it'd actually landed on the LAN cable under my desk. so after grabbing my slippers and aiming my desk lamp at it, i was abt to whack when it disappeared miraculously. -_-" i think my door was open then, but i didn't see it fly out. so all i hope now is that it's dead or dying or somehow managed to find its way out of my room. it better not be in my cupboard, altho i did close the door after rustling my jackets and stuff violently to make sure it wasn't in there. incidentally, moth larva don't eat stuffed toys do they? cos if that moth managed to get to my toys wihtout me knowing, i'll be VERY pissed off. >< bleh.
i finifshed reading the endocrine lectures. i hope i remmeber them, i don't think i'll be doing much memorisation this time round. and there's still HP but i'm getting super KO'd. desu. i think i'll read HP over lunch tmr, and hten read teh endocrine shit again throughtout the day. and i really shouldn't turn on my laptop. i keep playing solitaire for fun. incidentally, i got a new high scored. 15436 in 46 seconds. yeah~! hahaha. ya. i shall go and try the pratise papers and then i think 'm going to sleep... nite nite! or mornign rather... hahahaha.

Crap
so i'm staring at the pile of papers on my desk which i'm supposed to memorise by monday. i've a test and i haven't studied. whoopee. i hope that some of the endocrine lectures we had in JC have stuck... and add in 6 weeks worth of hp which i haven't done the readings for either... LA LA LA.
tyson was picking on my cha cha just now... he's trying to teach me the hip swivel thingy... which is sort of working, if i can just convince my legs to not pop out of their sockets while looking like they are, if that makes any sense. add in the fact that i keep doing the alemmana turn wrong... and nicole thinks that my jive isn't energetic enough, so i promised tyson i'd eat lots of sugar next week before medal. -_-" la di da. lesson again tmr, i think he's going to pick my samba to bits. ohs wells. at least it's nto as bad as it could have beem? ^_^"
need to go adn shower and then study. i rocked up to the studio in my sweet and innocent hospital get-up and tyson cracked up cos i think he never knew i owned a pair of salmon pink pants. *jams halo onto head* wat. the white and pink combi worked. i swear i wasn't grinning like a homocidal maniac at the patients at the eye and ear hospital today. XDXD it was interesting, had a nice doctor. she asked me wat i wanted to specialise in, and then she told me that if she wasn't given a phd scholarship, she'd have wanted to joint he police and worked her way up to become a forensic pathologist. and she let me look at the machine that measures ocular pressure. it's funky, and i'm really impressed at how the thing works, cos the way she swings it ard, i'd expect the probe to go jabbing right thru the pt's eye instead of just bending hte cornea a little... la di da. but i think i'll never go into opthalmology. i don't see myself getting all excited over eyes. and frankly, eye diseases are scary. skin diseases are another no-no on my list. strange how i can handle blood and guts but seeing a really bad and peeling and generally yuck rash gives me goosebumps... ahem.
ok. i goes to lay claim to the bathroom now... weather today is nice. sunny but cool. not like yesterday, and i think it's going to rain tmr too... sigh. ohs wells. at least i won't bake in my roomn. now, i need an excuse to not turn up to the meeting on sunday........

IRRITATING!!! esp the whole "can you tell me when you turn ont he water" shit thing that he tells EVERYONE who walks in while he's showering. incase anyone doesn't know, the bathroom we use has crazy plumbing. if you turn on the sink when someone's showering, the person in the shower gets fried. same thing if you turn on the tap in the pantry. but anyway, i went to the bathroom just now, and guess wat he did? he propped the chair up against the main door so that you can't open the door withotu slamming it open relaly hard. *rolls eyes* well, i'm sorry that your skin is sooo thin that you can't stomach being burnt a little, but i really don't see why you h avge to go out of your way to make things difficult for other pple. stupid. i'm soooo tempted to go and wash a few dishes in the pantry now just to fry him. wahahahahhaa. i'm evil. so wat. XD
anyway, it's bloody hot today. and i think i've been drinking a bit too much milk and milo lately, so just as i decide to stay off the milk for a few days, wat happens? i get bubble tea cravings. -_-" so now i'm sitting happy with a honey milk tea. sigh. stomach-san, prease to dodge up all you want today and then be good tmr ne? don't want to go thru my entire opthalmological placement with a dodgy tummy. ^_^" speaking of which, i need to go and iron my clothes for hte placement. it's going to be hot tmr too, not looking foward to having to wear a shirt and pants... i'd wear my skirt, except i'll have to wear either my boots or heels with it... and i dunno whether i shud wear my heels to the placement or not. for one i htink i need to walk quite a bit. hmmm... i think i'll just wear pants and my boots... sigh. it's ok, wills urvive, it's only 28...... *dying of heat * according to the weather site, it's currently 36.2 deg, but it feels like 33 deg. -_-" and this is where i'm glad i'm not at home, cos it's be humid and gross as well, whereas it's still windy and dry enough to be tolerable. incidentally, do i look THAT different when i wear my cap??? cos apparently one of the pple from college couldn't recognise me this morning when i was walking behind her and she happened to turn ard. *lol* she was apologising to me later after lunch and i told her it's ok cos i was late for class and didn't have time to stop to chat anyway. ^_^" la di da. couldn't peel self out of bed today... it was nice and cool in my room... altho my teddy bears didn't help very much int he keeping cool section... guess jin-chan will soon end up sitting on my chair at nite instead of on my tummy like last year if the weather keeps getting hotter... la la la...

The joys of intranet
ya... let's just say that i've been getting a bit happy with the intranet the past few days... a movie a night anyone??? hahaha... ya, anyway, i watched LotR last nite. and before tim starts freaking over legolas, yes, i like himbos especially if they're blonde elves. XD oh, and after overanalyzing it at 2am while highlighting my synopsis, i realized that at the council of elrond, the twins are actually sitting on either side of elrond. i think they're the twins cos they look the same. if not then it's erestor adn some other advisor i never knew existed. and after that while skimming thru the ending of RotK, i think i found a glorfindel. he was standing behind elrond after arwen gets back with aragorn. la la la. i ♥ pippin as usual. watever he's smoking, it's got to be the hobbit equivalent of crack, considering that he's full of crack and crap. sam and frodo... need to get a room. XD mwahahhaha. ahem. ya. i think i'm going to watch TTT tonight while highlighting HP readings. XD *whistles*
i d/led the alexander and lotr OSTs yesterday... the alexander one is actually pretty good... it's all instrumental (duh) and it's got some middle eastern-ish stuff... and of course, there just HAPPENS to be an mp3 labelled 'bagoas' dance', so i listen to it... and then i start going la la la over bagoas so i youtube the video of his dance. and now i feel like watching alexander. for the 3rd? 4th? time -_-" oh, and the bgm for the charge at guagamela is actually pretty cool. XD ya. who wants to watch alexander again with me??? and most imptly, who has alexander dvd??? hmm... thot i'd update for fun altho i really dohn't feel like blogging.. it's that time of the month whereby i hate being a girl, but as i told waku, if i were a male, it's mean that i'd be stupid, and if i asn't human, i'd be a plant and get eaten, so maybe i should just be a thing???? -_-" la di da. pink panadol induced haze is good. altho it means that now i'm wide awake from dying in bed the whole afternoon. and not to mention that i was anti-social at dinner adn waku had to tapow food upstairs for me. i wabus you much darling! prease to get better soon and not cough out your lungs.... and err... don't get too high ont he cough medicine. anyway, last week was a pretty nuts week, was being stressed out abt next year's accomodation, hence the previous post. but it's more or less set that i'll be living by myself next year, cos i'm going home so ya... prob moving to nelson's college, either taking over my cousin's place or sharon's unit. have to contact my cuzzie first and see whether he's confirmed moving out... so we shall see how well i survive on my own cooking. hhahaha. at least i know how to cook rice in a pot now? ^_^"
been watching movies the whole weekend... the joys of the network in college. i watche dkill bill vol 2 last nite, and then i watched sin city while eating dinner just now. and, sadly, they suck. vol. 1 was better for kill bill, and sin city was just... cmi. duh. shud have watched smthg else, like maybe click. oh well, guess wat i'll be doing while waiting to go home. XD la di da.
went to watch mousetrap yesterday. it was really good. so evyerone shud go and watch!!! the acting was way better than expected, altho the end was a bit rushed. me and goddess guess the murderer by the intermission, so let's see if anyone else knows who it is. XD oh, and goddess won a lucky draw thingy and went "HEH???" really loudly when they announced her name, and the whole theatre laughed, which was funny, cos she's kinda famous thanks to her role in the CTG play last year *pats blur goddess* then we came back and had mooncake party in TY's room... YUMMY~! i ate the most. as usual. ^_^" was supposed to go and eat mroe moooncake at goddess' place today, but i was feelign too shitty to go and even socialise with anyone except my teddy bears, so didn't go in the end...
today, i rolled to church altho i was trying to convince waku the go home the entire way. hahaha, it's our sunday ritual now iguess... with me trying to wag church all teh time. XD la did a. but we went shopping after that. i picked up sour gummy ropes in big W~! yay~! and all the gummies and sweets there made me very happy for the next hour or so until teh cramps kicked in. ohs wells. now waku knows how to get me to shut up and stop whining, cos i was whining before we went to big w, and the minute we walked into the sweet section i shut up. XD la di da. then we went to target where i ended up buying a pair of 3/4 tights and brown fishnet. don't ask why i bought teh fishnet. i was feeling more than slightly nuts by then. and it was on sale too, so it was all good. wanted to buy crazy underwear cos it was on sale, but no size... and the colours weren't very nice, ohs wells. will go bangkok and buy more next time. XD tee hee... dropped by 'stuf' outside target and picked up a eyeshadow/liner pencil that i was drawing on waku with just now. it was on sale too, so buy and play lor, altho i realized that it's too thick to fit into the eyeliner sharpener that my mummy gave me... errr... does this mean i have to use a knife??? -_-" duuuh. maybe i shud go and find the thicker sharpener for it... or else i can slowly saw my way thru it with my penknife. haven't used a knife to sharpen stuff for long time... also went to imagination... the pretty ruffly shoes i've been eyeing are only on 50% sale, so $40... will resist adn wait longer till the price drops even more... then i'll buy. and hopefully they'll still have my size, cos it's muchly pweddy desu. XD
bleh. i shall drink lemon infusion and be happy. maaybe i'll go eat yogurt and cheese or smthg later... and i need to go and fix up the pbl notes from firday. not lookign forward to drawing up the flowchart, it was an insane one. la di da. okies. bye bye pple. need to start studying for exams... it's comign up so fast. and i need to settle my accomodation so that i can book my ricket home. Why i hate my life sometimes
because it just IS. sigh. and in case anyone's wondering, this post was actually meant for last night, except that all the college's internet stuffed up, so yay, no internet to rant even when i wanted to.
a sign that i'm a med student no matter how little study i do to prove it: when crying and my nose is dripping, i still can connect the lacrimal duct in the eye to the nose. -_-" i need a life.
kat and i have come to an agreement whereby u borrow her mum's shotgun and we go malehunting and point blank shooting floor by floor. XD
ps: i'm not depressed anymore, that was just yesterday, and before anyone else says anything, i looked like shit today cos i couldn't be stuffed bputting makeup on. hence the eyebags and the 'i'm gonna kill you if you so much as look this way" air. ^_^" la di da. ok. need to do pbl now. amy shud be getting all jittery now while waiting for her turn to compete... la di da. i abandoned tyson. AMS decisions
argh... ok. i'm more or less confirmed for my venom and toxin thingy. i checked witht he aussie co-ordinator and he says that if i get pulled out of the s'pore one, i get to do my AMS in his lab here in melb... but now hte headache is wat to put for my second choice in the off chance that they decide they don't like me.... -_-" neuropsych in RMH? or spinal cord injuries in mice models in UNSW??? decisions decision... i've got abt 25 more hours to decide... argh... *head desk* ok. fine. i'm putting UNSW next. but i really really want to go home so PLEAS TO SEND A MIRACLE MY WAY GOD!!!!

TRC kamui is HOT~! XDXDD i wabu wabu the vampire idea... altho i'd have prefered it if hokuto had showed up instead, and OMG! kakyou is walking ard and AWAKE. *dies laughing* and dressed in smthg other than his sleeping robe and looking like the uber-uke. XDXD and somehow, satsuki on the good side AND the med student is... wrong. coughsadistcough. seishirou and fuuma... well, not surprised at how they are related. but but but, FYE-SAMA!!!! i like vamps and stuff, but OMG THE KUROFYE VIBES!!!! *dies* altho i must confess that i can see it better int he manga than anime... and i want to watch the 2nd season of TRC now for the dragonfly race... the flying thingys are cool, but kinda star wars-ish... that race thingy that anakin took part in to get out of the planet...
